Khlong Chak Waterfall is one of the sights on the island, and Mu Ko Lanta National Park, 9.4 km away, protects the island's forest and the sea around it. Khao Mai Kaew Cave, Khlong Chak Waterfall and the national park can be reached in a day, so a few sights can be combined on one outing.

A day could begin with a swim at Klong Nin Beach and go on to the waterfall or the national park. Trang Airport, 62.6 km away on the mainland, is one of the two nearest airports, and the crossing to the island is made by ferry, so plan the crossing before setting off, and allow time for it.
