A good day could begin at Wat Chalong, one of the best-known temples on the island, followed by the Big Buddha and an afternoon at Patong Beach. In the evening, the Phuket FantaSea show offers a large cultural performance. Bangla Road, the lively street of bars and clubs in Patong, is a separate outing from the quieter Bang Thao side, so the area makes a calm base after a busy day of sightseeing and temple visits.
