The City Pillar Shrine, a small shrine honouring the guardian spirit of the town, and Central Plaza Surat Thani, a large shopping centre, are also nearby. Surat Thani Airport lies 23 km away, and the Khao Hua Khwai railway station is a further 12.8 km from the property.

A good day out combines a morning visit to a temple with a walk through the town and an evening at the night market, where you can eat and browse before returning to the hotel.
