Hatthatara Resort

The Small Double Room measures 17 m² with a king bed, and the Quadruple Room measures 25 m² with two queen beds, for up to four guests. Several rooms have a garden view, and the Queen Room with Garden View has a balcony or terrace.

Rooms can have air conditioning, a private bathroom with a shower and toiletries, a flat-screen TV and a refrigerator. Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms. Amphawa is a canal town in Samut Songkhram province, in central Thailand, where old wooden houses line the waterways and boats still carry much of everyday life. Hatthatara Resort is set in the town itself, with the canal scene and the markets within a few kilometres. The resort has its own garden and terrace, so there is somewhere to sit outside between outings.

Amphawa Floating Market, about 3 km away, is known for food sold from boats on the canal. Maeklong Railway Market, 2.6 km away, is set up on the railway tracks, and trains pass through between the stalls. A pagoda, Wat Chan Charoen Suk, is less than a kilometre away, and King Bhumibol Adulyadej Park lies 3.1 km away. The nearest airport is Hua Hin Airport, 86.5 km away, and Don Mueang International Airport in Bangkok is 88.5 km away.

A relaxed day can start at the floating market and continue to the railway market, where you can watch the trains go past the stalls. King Bhumibol Adulyadej Park is in the same area, and the Amphawa Thai Dessert Museum, devoted to Thai desserts, is a stop for anyone with a sweet tooth. Back at the resort, the garden and terrace make a good place to end the day.
