Wat Chong Lom, a pagoda about 850 m away, is the closest pagoda to the resort, and the Maeklong Railway Market, 3 km away, is set up across a working railway line, with its stalls pulled back when a train passes. The hotel does not run a shuttle bus, so you will need your own transport for the longer trips.

A day out can combine the floating market with the Maeklong Railway Market, and the Amphawa Thai Dessert Museum and King Rama II Memorial Park are also nearby. Wat Nang Wang, a pagoda 1.7 km away, is another temple worth adding to the trip. The museum and the park are good places to add to a day that already includes the markets and the temples.
