Haadlad Prestige Resort & Spa

Haadlad Prestige Resort & Spa offers villas with beach, ocean or partial sea views, a penthouse with two bathrooms, garden-view rooms and a bungalow with a view of the pool. Rooms can have air conditioning, a TV, a refrigerator and a balcony or terrace, and several also have a seating area or an in-room safe.

Guests can choose from king beds, single beds and double beds, depending on the room. Rooms with a balcony or terrace open onto the garden, the sea or the pool, depending on the room you book. Every stay also gives access to the resort's garden and outdoor swimming pool.

The resort has an outdoor swimming pool and a children's pool, a private beach, and a garden. Dining is at the restaurant and bar, where a continental breakfast is offered, and there is a massage service. Family rooms are available, and shops and ticket services are on site at the resort, close to the beach.

Haad Salad is a sandy bay on Ko Pha-ngan, an island in the Gulf of Thailand that you reach by boat from the mainland or from neighbouring islands. Several dive operators work from the bay, and the resort's private beach lies on its shore, so the setting is more about the sea than about streets or shops.

The beach at Haad Salad is 300 m away, and Mae Haad Cove, known as a nudist beach, is a little further along the coast. Wang Sai waterfall is 1000 m away, and the Buddhist temple of Wat Chaloklum is 3.4 km away, while the local food market is 3.5 km away. The Wang Sai waterfall lies inland, so the walk there is a good way to see the island's green interior.

A day could combine a snorkelling spot 1.4 km away, the Phangan Safari zoo and a visit to the Wat Chaloklum temple. The Phangan Safari zoo offers a different kind of outing from the beach, and it makes a different kind of day out. For a day on the water, the dive operators in the bay are the obvious starting point, and it is worth allowing time for the boat crossing to the island when you plan the trip.
