Haad Salad Resort

Every room at Haad Salad Resort has a private entrance and a garden view. The rooms and bungalows measure from 20 m² to 45 m², with queen beds, single beds and a twin room with two single beds. A family bungalow sleeps up to three guests, and a two-bedroom bungalow sleeps up to five.

Several rooms have a balcony or terrace, and the bathrooms have walk-in showers, toiletries and towels. Some rooms have a bathtub, an electric kettle or a refrigerator. Extra beds depend on the room, and the two-bedroom bungalow has a choice of bed set-ups for its guests.

The resort has an outdoor swimming pool and a garden, and the public areas are air-conditioned. There is a laundry service and safety deposit boxes, and the resort also has family rooms and non-smoking rooms.

Free WiFi is available in all rooms, and WiFi is also available in the public areas, with internet services offered as well. Free parking is available. Rooms can have a closet, a clothes rack, a fan and linens, and bathrooms come with toiletries and towels. Free bottled water is provided, and many rooms have outdoor furniture on a balcony or terrace. English and Thai are spoken at the resort, which is about 200 m from Salad Beach.

Haad Salad is a small bay on Ko Pha-ngan, an island in the Gulf of Thailand that you reach by boat, because it has no airport of its own. Haad is the Thai word for beach, and here the resort and the sand sit close together. Beyond the sand, the island has a waterfall and a temple within a few kilometres.

Salad Beach is 200 m from the resort, and the Ao Chaloklum Bay is 3 km away, where a village and the Wat Chaloklum temple sit by the water. Wang Sai waterfall is 1.1 km away, and the small island of Koh Ma, with snorkelling spots nearby, is 1.8 km away. Together they make a simple day of swimming, snorkelling and a temple visit.

A good first day is a swim at Salad Beach, then a snorkel trip toward the reef near Koh Ma. In the afternoon, the road to Wang Sai waterfall or to the Chaloklum bay makes a good change of scene. Samui Airport (USM) is 28.1 km away on Ko Samui, and the last part of the journey to the island is by boat. Back at the resort, the garden and the outdoor swimming pool make a quiet end to the day.
