Green Valley Resort

Green Valley Resort has standard fan rooms and cottages, some with a nature view, as well as cottage and standard rooms with no window. Rooms can have a fan, a balcony or terrace, and wired internet, and capacity runs from two to four guests.

Two of the rooms have a nature view and a balcony or terrace, with one double bed each. Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms, and daily housekeeping is provided.

Green Valley Resort has an outdoor swimming pool and a children's swimming pool, along with a garden on site. Tours can be arranged, and there is an airport transfer. The resort is family and child friendly, and English and Thai are spoken at the resort.

Food and drink are covered by a restaurant, a bar, a coffee shop and 24-hour room service, and a continental breakfast is offered. The resort also has shops, lockers and safety deposit boxes, and a kitchen, with its restaurant and bar both on site.

Ton Sai sits on the Railay peninsula, across the bay from Ao Nang in Krabi province. The area is known for its limestone cliffs, its beaches and rock climbing, and it is reached mainly by longtail boat from Ao Nang rather than by road. The scenery is the main draw, and the peninsula is quieter than the Ao Nang seafront.

Ton Sai Beach is 100 m away, and Railay Beach is a short walk along the coast. Ton Sai Beach has its own pier for boats. Phra Nang Cave, a shrine cave on the coast, lies 1.7 km away. Ao Nang, on the other side of the bay, has its beach road, boat piers and the Ao Nang Night Market. Poda Island, reached by longtail boat, lies 5.3 km from the resort.

A day trip could combine a boat to Poda and Tup islands with a stop at the Hong Islands, which is a longer trip from Ao Nang. The Tiger Cave Temple (Wat Tham Suea) is a hilltop temple complex on the mainland, reached by road. The temple is a different kind of outing, since it sits on the mainland rather than on the water. In the rainy months, rough seas can stop boat trips, so plans may change.
