A day could begin on the sand at Bo Phut Beach, continue through the village lanes and the food market, and end with a visit to Mae Nam Beach, a long sandy stretch farther along the coast. For a different outing, Chaweng Noi Beach offers another stretch of sand, and the Big Buddha, a large seated statue, is one of the island's best-known landmarks. Bo Phut Beach is the nearest stretch of sand to the property, and it is the simplest place to start a day by the sea before exploring the village on foot.
