Magic Suites has villas and suites, many with a king bed, and their views face the sea, the ocean, the mountains or a courtyard. Several of the villas have a private pool, a bathtub or a living room, and the bathrooms can have a walk-in shower, a hair dryer and bathrobes.

Rooms can have air conditioning, a kettle, a refrigerator, an in-room safe box, a sofa, a desk and a mosquito net, and some rooms also have a coffee or tea maker and a kitchenette. Bathrobes are among the room amenities, toiletries and towels are provided in several bathrooms, and free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms.

Choeng Mon is a village area on the coast of Koh Samui, with local streets, Buddhist temples and fishing piers close to the water. The island's sights are spread out, so a scooter, a car or a songthaew is useful for longer trips, while the nearest temple and beach can be reached on foot. The island has its own airport, and the village is a short distance from it.

Wat Plai Laem, a temple 800 m away, is known for its large Guan Yin statues on the coast. The Big Buddha, a large statue and temple complex on a hill, lies 1.3 km from the hotel. Hat Bang Rak Beach is 800 m away, a stretch of shoreline close to the village, and Samui Airport is 1.8 km away, so arrivals and departures are a short trip from the hotel.

A good day could begin at Wat Plai Laem, continue to the Big Buddha and end in the evening at Fisherman's Village, a harbourside village of shops, bars and restaurants. In the afternoon, Hat Bang Rak Beach makes a simple stop between the temples, and the hotel is close enough to return to after a long day out. The hotel's pools make a good break between outings.
