Satun province borders Malaysia, and the landscape around the resort is hilly, with small villages in the valleys and the sea not far away. Satun province is known for its offshore islands, and Ko Lipe is reached from the coast at Pak Bara. The main airport for the area is Hat Yai International, in neighbouring Songkhla province.

The closest beach is Bang Sila Beach, 3.1 km away, which also has a viewpoint. The Pak Bara ferry terminal, 4.1 km from the resort, is the departure point for boats to the Ko Lipe islands, which are reached only by sea. Cu Pa Noi Beach is also 6.4 km away, another beach in the same coastal area.

A day out can start with the viewpoint at Bang Sila Beach, then a visit to the La-ngu local meseum, 4.7 km from the resort, and to the Wijit Janya Garden, 4.6 km away. Kampang Park is a park in the same area. Each of them is reached by road from the resort, so car hire at the resort is useful for trips further afield.
