The rooms at Gotum Hostel 2 & Money Exchange come with a flat-screen TV and a telephone, and most have air conditioning. The Deluxe King Room offers 27 m² with a king bed and a city view. The Superior King Room has 26 m² and a king bed for up to two guests.

The Standard Twin Room has a bunk bed and soundproofing, and the Triple Room has a king bed and a single bed for up to three guests. The Grand Family Room measures 80 m² and sleeps up to seven guests with a choice of bed set-ups. The Economy Quadruple Room measures 26 m² and the Standard Quadruple Room 30 m², both for up to four guests.

Within walking distance you will find the Peranakan Museum, the Shrine of the Serene Light and Wat Mongkol Nimit, a Buddhist pagoda. The Peranakan Museum tells the story of the Peranakan families whose houses still line the old town. The Sunday Walking Street Market at Lard Yai, held on Sunday evenings, has food and souvenir stalls along the old streets. For onward travel, the Phuket Town Local Bus Station (Terminal 1) is 750 m away, bicycle parking is offered, and guests who drive can use parking nearby.

A day out can combine the old town with Wat Chalong (Chaithararam Temple), the most revered Buddhist temple on Phuket, 7.2 km away. Patong Beach, one of the island's busiest beaches, is 10.3 km away, and Kata Beach and Karon Beach are also a day trip away. Phuket International Airport is 26.8 km away, so the guesthouse is a practical starting point for an early departure.
