Golden sand khaolak Resort

Golden sand khaolak Resort has studio rooms and twin and double rooms of 30 m² for up to two guests. The superior studios offer two double beds or a king bed, and the twin and double rooms offer two single beds or a king bed. Bathrooms have a shower, and the twin and double rooms add air conditioning, a flat-screen TV and a hair dryer.

A room for up to three guests is allocated when you arrive. The studio rooms and the twin and double rooms have coffee and tea makers, and free bottled water is provided in the studios. Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms.

The area offers beaches close to the coast, with national parks and waterfalls a short way inland, so a stay here combines sea and forest.

Inland from the coast, Khao Lak-Lam Ru National Park covers forested hills, and Ton Chong Fa Waterfall, a multi-tiered cascade, is worth a visit in its own right. The Tsunami Museum, 1.7 km away, tells the story of the 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami, which struck this coast hard, and Bang Niang Market is a local stop for everyday shopping. Sunset Beach is another stretch of sand nearby.

For a longer day out, Similan National Park, 8.8 km away, takes in a group of islands reached by boat and popular with divers and snorkellers. Phuket International Airport is the nearest airport at 60.4 km, and the resort is reached from there by road. Visitors who want to combine the coast with the hills will find both within a few kilometres.
