Gecko Lipe Resort

Gecko Lipe Resort has junior suites, executive suites, deluxe rooms and double rooms. Several have garden views, one has a balcony and two have views of the pool. Rooms can have air conditioning and ironing facilities, and free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms.

Rooms sleep up to three, four or five guests depending on the room, and one suite offers a king bed along with a bunk bed and a sofa bed. The Executive Suite measures 45 m² and sleeps up to five guests.

The resort has a bar, a garden, a library, a kitchen and a shared kitchen, and the property has an elevator. Diving, snorkelling and fishing are offered, and tours can be arranged, with a taxi service also available on the island.

Ko Lipe is a small island in the Andaman Sea, off the coast of Satun province in southern Thailand, and it is reached by boat from the mainland. Its village area is compact, with restaurants and bars along the pedestrian street and the sea a short walk away. The resort sits in the village part of the island, close to the Walking Street and the boat pier, and it is a few hundred metres from the beach.

Sunrise Beach is 300 m from the resort, and Pattaya Beach lies a little further along. The Walking Street, the island's main pedestrian street, is 400 m away and has restaurants and bars. The Koh Lipe Ferry Terminal is 450 m away, where boats from the mainland arrive. Across the water, Koh Adang is 6.1 km away, a neighbouring island within Tarutao National Park, and View Point 3 is 2.9 km away.

A day on the island could begin on Sunrise Beach and continue with a snorkelling trip out to Koh Adang. Boat trips can be disrupted when the sea is rough in the monsoon months, so the sea conditions are worth keeping in mind when planning any boat trip beyond the nearby bays.
