G2 Ayutthaya

The rooms at G2 Ayutthaya include twin and double rooms, a Deluxe Room with a king bed, and rooms with a view over the pool. Rooms can have blackout curtains, a desk, individual air conditioning, linens and a window. Several rooms have a private bathroom with a bathtub, a shower, toiletries, towels and a hair dryer.

The Deluxe Room measures 40 m² and sleeps up to two guests, and the Superior Twin Room and Superior Double Room each measure 30 m² and sleep up to two. The rooms with a pool view sleep up to three guests, and the Standard Double Room also sleeps up to three guests.

G2 Ayutthaya has an outdoor swimming pool and a children's swimming pool, along with a fitness centre, a spa, a sauna and massage treatments. The spa and the sauna are a good option after a day of sightseeing, and the massage treatments are offered on site.

G2 Ayutthaya stands on Rojana Road in the Han Tra area of Ayutthaya, the former capital of the Ayutthaya Kingdom in central Thailand. The ruins of the historic city, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, are spread across the old town and along the rivers, so most of the sights are a few kilometres away. Ayutthaya has dozens of temples and ruins, and the neighbourhood is a practical place to stay for a few days of sightseeing.

Wat Mahathat, 4.2 km from the hotel, is known for its Buddha head entwined in tree roots. Wat Phra Sri Sanphet, 5.2 km away, sits among the ruins of the former royal palace, where three large chedis remain. Ayutthaya Train Station, 2.6 km away, has trains to and from Bangkok, so the city is easy to reach by rail. Wat Yai Chai Mang Khon and Wat Phanan Choeng are also close by, and taxis and tuk-tuks can take you between the temples.

A full day can start at Wat Mahathat and Wat Phra Sri Sanphet, then move on to the Ayothaya Floating Market & Elephant Village, 1.7 km from the hotel, for a slower afternoon. Don Mueang International Airport, 48.7 km away, is the nearest airport, and free parking at the hotel means a car is a convenient way to get around.
