Friendly Resort

The rooms at Friendly Resort range from standard double and twin rooms to cottages and a triple room. One room has a balcony or terrace with a sea view, and the Standard Room and the Double Cottage both have air conditioning.

Beds include double and single beds, and the Standard Room is offered with a choice of bed set-ups. Some rooms have a private bathroom, and the Standard Triple Room sleeps up to six guests. Extra beds depend on the room you choose, and children are welcome at the resort.

Friendly Resort offers a laundry service for its guests, and the front desk runs check-in from 14:00 to 19:00 with check-out until 11:30.

Haad Rin is a lively beach area on Ko Pha-ngan, where a village, a ferry pier and the sand sit close together. The resort is 300 m from the beach, and the ferry pier is 150 m away. The area is best known for the Full Moon Party, which is held on the beach at each full moon. Everyday needs are close by too, with clinics, pharmacies and small shops along the village lanes, and the village is busy after dark with street-food stalls.

Within walking distance of the resort are Luang Pu Thuat Shrine and the Haad Rin Nok and Haad Rin Nai beaches, which give you more than one stretch of sand to choose from. Haad Yuan beach and Haad Thian beach also lie in the wider area, so there are several beaches to explore from the village.

For a day out, Thong Nai Pan Yai Beach is about 10.5 km away and gives you a different stretch of sand. The nearest airport is Samui Airport (USM), 13.9 km away on Ko Samui, so the last part of the trip to Ko Pha-ngan is by ferry. Because the beach and the village are so close together, the area is easy to explore on foot.
