Free House bungalow

The accommodation at Free House bungalow is made up of bungalows and cottages set in the grounds, and they have a fan and an in-room safe box. Several have a balcony or terrace overlooking the garden. The Standard Bungalow, at 30 m², sleeps up to three guests, and the Fan Family Cottage, at 36 m², sleeps up to four guests with two single beds and a queen bed.

Air conditioning is in the Standard Bungalow and the Deluxe Bungalow, and the Deluxe Bungalow also has a TV with satellite and cable channels. Extra beds depend on the room you choose, and an extra bed carries an additional charge. A baby cot can be requested from the property, subject to availability.

Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms, and there is also Wi-Fi in the public areas. Rooms can have fans, in-room safe boxes and showers. The property has a restaurant, a bar and a garden, and family rooms are available. Rooms can also have mosquito nets and balconies, depending on the room you choose.

Massage, tours, bicycle rental and car hire are offered, and water sports are offered in both motorised and non-motorised forms. A golf course is within 3 km.

There is an airport transfer. Reception is open from 08:00 to 22:00, and guests arriving outside these hours are asked to contact the property beforehand. Daily housekeeping, laundry service and safety deposit boxes are also offered, and pets are allowed.

Free House bungalow is in Bo Phut, a former fishing village on the shore of Koh Samui, and the sea is right next to the grounds. The lanes nearby hold small shops, cafés and bars, and the village runs down to the sea beside the property. Bo Phut has a long fishing heritage, and its temples and seaside lanes give the village a character of its own. Koh Samui is an island, so you reach it by air or by ferry, and Samui Airport is its main airport.

Several sights are a short trip away. Fisherman's Village Bophut Walking Street, a pedestrian street of shops and cafés, is 1.3 km away, and Maenam Beach, a long stretch of sand, is 2.4 km away. The Big Buddha, a large seated statue on a hill above the coast, is 4.3 km away. Wat Bo Phut, the village temple, is 1.5 km away, and Samui Airport, the island's main airport, is 4.9 km away.

A day could start with a stroll to Fisherman's Village, then a visit to the Big Buddha in the afternoon, and end with an evening at the cafés along the walking street. Car hire and bicycle rental are offered at the property, a practical way to reach the island's other beaches and temples from Bo Phut.
