Jungceylon Shopping Center, a large mall, is 1.1 km away, and Bangla Road, the street of bars, clubs and live music that comes alive after dark, is 1.2 km away. Karon Beach, the next bay along the coast, is 2.8 km away. Phuket International Airport is the nearest airport, reached by road.

A good first day is a swim at Patong Beach, 700 m from the guesthouse, followed by an evening on Bangla Road. Another day can take you to Chaithararam Temple, also known as Wat Chalong, 6 km away, one of the best-known Buddhist temples on the island, and then on to the Big Buddha on the hills near Chalong.
