First Bungalow Beach Resort

The rooms at First Bungalow Beach Resort measure from 23 to 35 m² and sleep from two to five guests. They include pool-side bungalows, a bungalow with a sea view, a bungalow with a garden view, a Deluxe Room in one of the main buildings, and a double or twin room.

Rooms can have air conditioning, a desk, an in-room safe and a kettle, and several come with a bathtub, a hair dryer and a shower. Some rooms have a pool, garden or sea view, and free WiFi is available in all rooms. Some rooms are in a four-storey building about 150 m from the main building, and that building has no lift.

First Bungalow Beach Resort has an outdoor swimming pool and a children's swimming pool, with a poolside bar beside them. Some bungalows are set around the pool area. Guests can use the private beach, snorkelling, diving and fishing are offered, and tours can be arranged. Massage is also available on site, and the grounds include a garden and a terrace.

The restaurants serve a buffet breakfast, and room service, coffee and tea in the restaurant and a happy hour are also available. The 24-hour front desk, luggage storage, laundry service and daily housekeeping are on site. There is an airport transfer and car hire, and there is also a playground for younger guests.

First Bungalow Beach Resort is set in the Chaweng Noi area of Koh Samui, the island's best-known beach district. Chaweng Noi beach is the closest beach to the resort, 50 m away, and the nearby village of Baan Chaweng Noi gives the area a local feel alongside the resorts.

Chaweng Yai beach, a longer and busier stretch of sand, is 2.1 km away. The Walking street is an evening strip of shops, bars and food stalls, 1.9 km from the resort, and Wat Chaweng, a Buddhist temple, is also nearby. The Big Buddha statue, 6.7 km away, is a popular trip out, and Samui Airport (USM) is 4.3 km from the resort.

A day here can start with a swim at Chaweng Noi beach and continue with a drive to the Big Buddha or a walk along the sand of Chaweng Yai beach, and the Samui Elephant Sanctuary Bophut can also be visited on a day out, alongside the beaches and temples. In the evening, the Walking street is an easy choice for dinner out, and the Night Market is a short distance further on. Getting around the island is possible by car, and car hire is offered on site.
