EbS Residence Chaweng

The rooms at EbS Residence Chaweng range from studios to family rooms. Several have air conditioning, and the family rooms sleep up to four guests with combinations of king, single and bunk beds. The Studio Balcony and the Family Room each sleep one guest.

Some rooms have a balcony or terrace, and several have a city view, so the view depends on the room you choose. Where a bathroom is private, it comes with a shower, hair dryer and toiletries. Air conditioning and a flat-screen TV are also in several rooms, and several family rooms are reached by stairs only.

Guests can use an airport transfer service, and car hire, a taxi service and ticket services are available. A concierge and luggage storage are offered. Parking is free on site, with bicycle parking and parking nearby, and Wi-Fi is free in all rooms.

Daily housekeeping and a laundry service are offered, with cash withdrawal, safety deposit boxes for valuables and air conditioning in the public areas. The residence also has a terrace.

Tours can be arranged, and English and Thai are spoken at the residence, so guests can ask about the island's attractions in either language. Ticket services are also available for trips to the island's sights, and the terrace gives guests a place to sit outside between days out.

Chaweng is the liveliest beach area on Koh Samui, with a long stretch of sand and a busy mix of bars, restaurants and shops along the roads behind it. The area is at its busiest in the evening, when the streets fill with people, and the island's nightlife is close by. EbS Residence Chaweng sits in this part of the island, and the Chaweng Walking Street is a short walk away for evening shopping and dining.

Chaweng Yai Beach is 1,000 m away, and Central Festival Samui, a large shopping centre, is 1.2 km away. Big Buddha, a well-known landmark on the island, is 5.4 km from the residence. Samui Airport is 3 km away, so the airport transfer service is useful for arrivals and departures, and taxi service and car hire are available for getting around the rest of the island.

A day out could combine the Big Buddha with Na Muang Waterfall, an inland waterfall 9.3 km away that is reached by road. Lamai Beach is another stretch of sand on the island, and it makes a simple alternative for a day on the sand when you want a change of scene from Chaweng, with its own quieter stretch of coast and a different mix of places to eat.
