The deluxe rooms at Dwell Phuket Airport include a double room with a mountain view, a king room sleeping up to three guests and several rooms with a balcony. Rooms can have air conditioning, a private bathroom with a shower and a hair dryer, and a flat-screen TV.

Travellers who want sand near the airport, rather than the busy nightlife of Patong, will find it a quieter starting point for the island.

The beach at Nai Yang is about 500 m away, and Sirinat National Park is nearby. Ni Yang Night Market is a short walk at 200 m, and the temple of Wat Mongkonwaram, with its pagoda, is also close. Maikhao Beach, where a viewpoint lets you watch planes come in low over the sand, is a short ride at 4.1 km, and Splash Jungle Water Park, 2.8 km away, suits a day out with children.

Nai Yang suits a relaxed day: a swim at the beach, a visit to Sirinat National Park in the morning, and an evening at Ni Yang Night Market, where the stalls are open after dark. The afternoon can be spent on the sand at Nai Yang Beach, a few hundred metres from the hotel. For a longer day, the Big Buddha and Wat Chalong are across the island, and Phuket FantaSea, the theme park and show, is a further trip.
