Dream Valley Resort

The accommodation at Dream Valley Resort is made up of bungalows and rooms measuring between 13 and 38 m², with garden or pool views in some of them. Rooms can have air conditioning, a private bathroom with a shower, toiletries and towels, and a balcony or terrace, and some rooms offer a choice of single or double bed set-ups.

Some rooms sleep up to two guests, others up to three or five, so there is space for small groups as well as couples. Electric kettles, bathrobes and satellite TV appear in some rooms, and guests can choose a room facing the garden or one overlooking the pool. The accommodation sits among the resort's tropical gardens.

Facilities include an outdoor swimming pool, an indoor swimming pool and a children's swimming pool, along with a garden and a terrace. The resort is family and child friendly, and English and Thai are spoken.

Ton Sai sits on the Railay peninsula in Krabi, on the Andaman coast of southern Thailand, a stretch of limestone cliffs and small beaches that is reached only by boat. Most of the surrounding landscape is limestone karst, with cliffs rising above the sea and small coves between them. The village suits rock climbing, swimming and day trips by boat.

Ton Sai Beach lies 100 m away, and Railay Beach is a longer stretch of sand with rock walls rising behind it. Phra Nang Cave, 1.6 km away, is a limestone cave beach framed by cliffs, while Ao Nang Beach, 1.2 km away, is the mainland resort strip where longtail boats leave for the islands. Tiger Cave Temple (Wat Tham Suea), 15.5 km away, is a hilltop temple with a large golden Buddha statue.

Krabi International Airport is 18.5 km away, and getting here means a taxi towards Ao Nang Beach followed by a boat transfer that must be arranged. A good day starts with a longtail boat trip to Poda and Tup islands, then an afternoon on the sand at Railay. The Hong Islands are a longer day out by boat from Ao Nang, and the evening can end back on the Railay side with the cliffs as the backdrop.
