Dow Residence

The rooms at Dow Residence vary in size and layout, from a 22 m² Standard Room with a mountain view to a 42 m² two-bedroom townhouse. Across the property, rooms can have air conditioning, a desk, a refrigerator, a shower and toiletries, and a balcony or terrace.

The two-bedroom townhouse sleeps up to three guests and offers a choice of bed set-ups, and another room sleeps up to five. Within a short distance are Wat Sila Ngu Temple and the Guan-Yu Koh Samui Shrine, which honours the Chinese general Guan Yu, as well as the Hua Thanon Wet Market, a local market for fresh food and snacks. The Na Muang Waterfall lies 4.7 km away in the hills, and the Big Buddha, one of the island's best-known landmarks, is 14.1 km from Dow Residence. Samui Airport is 11.8 km away, and it is the nearest airport.

A good day here can start with a swim or a walk on Lamai Beach and a visit to Hin Ta and Hin Yai, the rock formations known as Grandma and Grandpa Rocks, before a visit to the Lamai Night Market in the evening. Longer excursions across the island, to the Big Buddha or the Na Muang Waterfall, take more time than the trips nearby, so they work best as a separate day out.
