The rooms at Doo Dee Boutique Resort by Swiss Chalet measure from 30 to 50 m² and sleep from two up to six guests. Several of them overlook the pool, and a number of them have a whirlpool bathtub, with some also offering access to an open-air bath.

In the evening the streets are lively, with the Wednesday Evening Market and the Klong Haeng Saturday Market among the local markets. The resort is 450 m from Noppharathara Beach, and the main Ao Nang Beach is 1.3 km further along the bay.

Longtail boats run from the piers along the bay to Railay Beach, 4.4 km away and reached by longtail boat, where Phra Nang Cave has a beach framed by limestone cliffs. Poda Island, 7.9 km away, is a small island with a beach reached by boat from the bay. The Ao Nang Night Market is close by, and the Ao Nang Krabi Thai Boxing Stadium is right beside the resort.

Krabi International Airport is 19.5 km away by road. For a day out, the boats to the islands show the limestone coast at its best, and in the rainy season trips can be cancelled when the sea is rough. In the evening, the markets around Ao Nang make a simple end to a day on the water, and the resort is a short distance from them.
