Dong Talay Lipe Beach Resort

The rooms at Dong Talay Lipe Beach Resort include garden-view doubles, a beach-view bungalow and a two-bedroom villa that sleeps up to six guests. A family room sleeps up to five guests, and a twin cottage is also offered. Several rooms have a private bathroom with a shower, and many rooms also have a flat-screen TV.

Free WiFi is available in all rooms, and several rooms have air conditioning, a fan or a refrigerator. The Superior Room measures 25 m², the Deluxe Beachfront Bungalow 22 m² and the Two-Bedroom Villa 56 m². The villa has two bedrooms, and the bungalow has a beach view.

Pattaya Beach is the main beach of the village on Ko Lipe, and Dong Talay Lipe Beach Resort stands 50 m from its sand. The island is small and lies in the Adang-Rawi group off Satun province in southern Thailand, a place known for its clear water and a slow pace. Boats move in and out of the bay all day, and the sea is part of daily life in the village.

The Koh Lipe Ferry Terminal is 150 m away, where boats from the mainland dock, and the Walking Street, the village's pedestrian lane of small shops, is 250 m off. Sunset Beach and Hantalay Temple, a pagoda, are both a short walk from the resort. Koh Adang, a neighbouring island in the same archipelago, is 6.1 km away and is one of the places visited on day trips from the island.

Ko Lipe has no road link to the mainland, so the last part of the journey is by boat, and boat trips can be affected by rough seas in the monsoon season. Diving, fishing, snorkelling and tours are available at the resort, and the snorkelling spots are reached by boat. A good day can start with a swim at Pattaya Beach, continue with a walk along the Walking Street in the evening, and end with a visit to Hantalay Temple before sunset.
