Dome Resort

Rooms at Dome Resort include twin and double rooms as well as grand ones, and some have a city view while one has a garden view. Rooms can have air conditioning, blackout curtains, an in-room safe, a kettle, a refrigerator and a balcony or terrace, and free bottled water and instant coffee.

Rooms welcome between two and four guests, and free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms, so the choice can follow the size of your group and whether you want a city view or a garden view.

Kata Beach is a short walk from the resort, and Karon Beach, the neighbouring bay, is also a short distance away. The Kata Open Market is nearby too, 150 m from the resort, and the Kata Night Market is a short walk from the front door. Big Buddha Phuket sits on a hilltop 1.6 km away, with views over the island, and Chaithararam Temple (Wat Chalong), one of the most revered temples on Phuket, is 4.8 km away. Patong Beach, the island's liveliest beach and known for nightlife, is 6.9 km away, and Phuket International Airport is 31.9 km away. The resort offers car hire and a taxi service for getting around.

A good day could start on Kata Beach, continue to the Big Buddha on the hill, and finish in the evening at the Kata Night Market, a short walk from the resort, where food stalls and local goods fill the lanes. Wat Chalong is a worthwhile stop for a visit to one of the island's best-known temples.
