Divers House

Every room at Divers House measures 12 m² and has air conditioning, a private entrance and a private bathroom of its own. Sleeping arrangements run from a king bed for two guests to four single beds for four guests, and the family room combines a single bed with a king bed.

Some rooms have a balcony or terrace, and each bathroom comes with a shower, toiletries and towels. Every room has a fan and its own private entrance, and the quadruple room also has a clothes rack for hanging up clothes. Air conditioning is standard in every room, and the rooms are the same size.

Diving, snorkelling and fishing are offered, and the hotel has a yoga room for classes designed for all levels. Ticket services are available for guests who want to book activities, and luggage storage and a laundry service are also provided. Guests can leave their bags with the hotel while they explore the island.

Food delivery is offered, and Wi-Fi reaches the public areas as well as the rooms. Internet services are also provided, and the hotel has a yoga room on site for its classes. There is a terrace, and guests who smoke have a designated smoking area, while the hotel also has non-smoking rooms. Staff speak English, French and Thai, and a doctor or nurse can be called when needed.

Sairee Beach is the main beach area on Ko Tao, a small island in the Gulf of Thailand that belongs to Surat Thani province. Divers House is 270 m from the beach, in a lively stretch with dive shops, street-food stalls and small shops. Ko Tao has no bridge to the mainland, so visitors arrive by boat, and the sea is part of daily life on the island.

Haad Sairee, the beach itself, is 450 m away, and the Ao Hat Sai Ri bay lies close by. The King Chulalongkorn (Rama V) Monument honours the Thai king, and the Coconut Viewpoint (1.4 km) gives a lookout over the coastline. Ao Tanote Beach, a bay about 2.5 km from the hotel, lies further along the coast. Koh Nang Yuan, a small islet reached by boat, is known for its viewpoint, and the boat trip out to it is one of the island's classic day outings.

A good day on the island can combine a snorkel or dive from Sairee Beach with a boat trip to Koh Nang Yuan, then a visit to the Coconut Viewpoint later in the day. The island is known for diving and snorkelling, and the dive schools along Sairee are part of its character.
