The rooms at Diamond Cottage Resort & Spa include superior rooms, cottages and a cottage villa, with pool and garden views in several of them. Some rooms have a private bathroom with a shower, bathrobes and a hair dryer, and a couple have a bathtub.

The superior rooms measure 30 m² and the cottages 40 m², and the cottage villa sleeps up to five guests. Bed set-ups vary from room to room, with single beds, a double bed or a combination of both. Diamond Cottage Resort & Spa stands in the Kata area of Phuket, with Karon Beach 250 m away and Kata Beach 500 m away. Both are neighbouring sandy bays with a row of restaurants and cafés along the roads behind them, and both can be reached on foot from the resort, which keeps the sea a short trip for a daily swim.

Within a short drive are the Big Buddha, a large white seated statue on a hill with wide views over the island, and Chaithararam Temple, better known as Wat Chalong, 4.9 km away, one of the most revered temples in Phuket. Patong, the island's best-known beach resort, with its beaches and nightlife, is also a drive away. The Kata Walking Street Night Market is close by for evening food and shopping, and Phuket International Airport is 31.5 km away, with an airport transfer offered by the resort.

A typical day could begin with the Big Buddha, continue to Wat Chalong, and finish with a swim at Karon or Kata and dinner at the Kata Walking Street Night Market. Patong is the choice for a longer evening out, while the two bays are the place to spend the afternoon on the sand.
