Dhyana Villas

The whole property is one villa, the Villa with Private Pool, which covers 120 m² with a mountain view and sleeps up to four guests. Its private bathroom has a walk-in shower, a hair dryer, bathrobes and towels.

The house also has an electric kettle, toiletries, cleaning products and a mirror, and the private pool, garden and terrace are part of the house.

Guests have an outdoor swimming pool, a garden and a terrace to use. Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms, and Wi-Fi also works in the public areas, where air conditioning is provided. A laptop safe box is available, and there is free parking nearby, so arriving by car is straightforward and does not add a parking cost.

Tours and car hire can be arranged, and a concierge is available. Private check-in and check-out are offered, and guests who need a secure place for valuables can use the safety deposit boxes provided at the property. The check-in window runs from 15:00 to 20:00, so arrivals can be planned around it, and check-out is by 11:00.

Dhyana Villas is in the Wok Tum area of Ko Pha-ngan, an island in the Gulf of Thailand with no bridge, so the last stretch of the journey is by boat. The area is village-like, with small bays, village lanes and several yoga and healing centres nearby, including the Ananda Yoga & Detox Center.

Hin Kong Beach is close to the villa, and the Sunset Low Tide Viewpoint is 900 m away. Wat Samai Kongka, a temple with a pagoda, is 1.1 km off, and Ao Sri Thanu, a bay with its own beach, is 1.7 km away. Thong Nai Pan Yai Beach, a longer trip across the island, is 8.9 km away.

A day could start with a swim at Hin Kong Beach, continue with a walk to the sunset viewpoint, and finish at the food market nearby. The walk to the viewpoint is short enough to fit into an afternoon, and late afternoon suits it best, when the light over the bay is at its best. The nearest major airport, Samui Airport, is on Ko Samui, the island from which many boats run to Ko Pha-ngan. Sea conditions can make the crossing rougher in the rainy months, so allow time for the journey.
