Location & what to see
Patong is a lively beach town on Phuket, with restaurants, bars, shops and a long sandy beach. Dfeel House is on Phrabaramee Road, and Patong Beach is 800 m away, so the sea is a short distance for a swim or an evening stroll. The Jungceylon Shopping Center, a large mall in Patong, and Patong Boxing Stadium, where Thai boxing matches are held, are also nearby.
Bangla Road, 1.5 km from the hostel, is the street of bars and clubs that gives Patong its nightlife, with street stalls and live music in the evening. The Banzaan Fresh Market and the night market are also in the area and are good for local food. Chaithararam Temple, known as Wat Chalong, is 7.3 km away and is one of the most important Buddhist temples on Phuket. A taxi or a car is the easiest way to reach the temples on the island.
