Davis Thai House

The villas at Davis Thai House have two or three bedrooms, and the Thai-style ones sleep up to seven guests. Depending on the villa, there can be air conditioning, a mini bar, a microwave, a refrigerator, a bathtub and a private entrance.

The two-bedroom and three-bedroom villas measure 185 m² and 250 m², and both have a nature view. Beds include king, queen and single beds, and capacity runs up to seven guests across the villas.

The hotel has an outdoor swimming pool, a fitness center and a spa with a sauna, and the spa and sauna are on site. Dining covers a restaurant, a buffet breakfast, a coffee shop, a kitchen and a poolside bar, with room service as well.

Guests can use an airport transfer, a shuttle service and a taxi service, and tours are offered too. Other services include a 24-hour front desk, a concierge, currency exchange, luggage storage, daily housekeeping, laundry service and a babysitting service. Free WiFi is available in all rooms, and there is wired internet along with WiFi in the public areas. Safety deposit boxes are also available for guests.

Soi Sukhumvit 24 runs off Sukhumvit Road in the Phrom Phong area of central Bangkok, one of the city's busiest districts for shopping and offices. The side street is calmer than the main avenue, with small shops and eateries along the way, while Sukhumvit Road itself is a long avenue lined with hotels, restaurants and bars.

The Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre MRT station is 650 m away and Phrom Phong BTS station is 1.1 km away, so the metro and the sky train connect the hotel to much of the central city. Siam Paragon, the large shopping centre in the Siam area, is 4.4 km away, and the Jim Thompson House museum, a teak house filled with Thai silk and art, is 5.2 km away. MBK Center, another large shopping centre, sits in the same Siam area. Benchasiri Park is nearby, and so is the Khlong Toei market.

For a fuller day out, the Grand Palace and Wat Arun, the Temple of Dawn, are both on the Chao Phraya riverbank, and Chatuchak Weekend Market is a vast weekend market. The riverside also has several temples worth visiting in a single day. Suvarnabhumi Airport is 20.2 km away for those arriving by air.
