The rooms at Daddy Dream Hotel & Residence come with king, queen, super king or single beds, and the view depends on the room: mountain views in some, garden views in others. Daddy Dream Hotel & Residence stands in the centre of Ranong, a small provincial town on the Andaman coast of southern Thailand, in the province that borders Myanmar. Ranong is quieter than the resort islands further south, and daily life here runs through its markets, shrines and pagodas rather than beach bars. The hotel is a town base rather than a beach stay, and the sights below are all close to it.

Within walking distance is the Wat Suwan Khiri Wihan pagoda, 750 m from the hotel, and the Rattana Rangsarn Palace, with its throne hall, is a short stroll further on. The City Pillar Shrine stands nearby, and the Ranong Municipal Fresh Market and a night food market are in the same part of town. For a slower afternoon, the Raksa Warin hot springs, set in a park with an arboretum, are 2 km away and make a relaxed afternoon outing.

Ranong Customs Pier, 4.7 km from the hotel, is the ferry terminal for boats to the offshore islands, so boat trips start there. Ranong Airport is 22.8 km away, and there is an airport transfer. Ranong Bus Station is also in town. A good first day starts with the pagoda and the palace in the morning, continues to the hot springs after lunch, and finishes at the night food market.
