D's Corner & Guesthouse

The rooms at D's Corner & Guesthouse are set up in several ways, with single beds, double beds, or a mix of the two, and they suit two to four guests depending on the room. Room sizes start at 20 m², and the rooms are cooled either by air conditioning or by a fan.

Several rooms have a private bathroom with a shower and toiletries, and some have a desk, a seating area or a private entrance. Free Wi-Fi covers all rooms, and the public areas of the guesthouse also have Wi-Fi, so guests can stay connected in the rooms and in the shared spaces.

Guests have access to a 24-hour front desk, and the guesthouse offers an airport transfer and a shuttle service. Laundry service and luggage storage are offered, car hire is also available, and English and Thai are spoken.

Talang Road runs through Phuket Town, where the old quarter is known for its Sino-Portuguese shophouses and narrow lanes of colourful old buildings. Much of the old town can be reached on foot from the guesthouse, so the area suits those who want to walk between museums, markets and temples without a car.

The Peranakan Museum, on Thalang Road, is 100 m away, and the Lard Yai Sunday Night Market, which fills the old town's streets on Sundays, is also close by. Her Majesty the Queen's 72nd Anniversary Park and the Phuket Old Town area are within a few hundred metres of the guesthouse. Chaithararam Temple (Wat Chalong), one of the island's best-known Buddhist temples, is 7.3 km away.

A day here can begin with the Peranakan Museum and a walk through the old town's shophouses, then continue to Chaithararam Temple in the afternoon. For the beaches, Patong Beach is 10.5 km away, and Phuket International Airport is 26.8 km from the guesthouse, so the airport and the coast are both a drive away. The Sunday Walking Street Market is 50 m from the guesthouse, so the old town's streets can be explored on foot from the front door on a Sunday.
