Coral Cove Resort

The rooms at Coral Cove Resort range from a 12 m² Standard Room to villas of 36 and 37 m², with views that include the sea, the pool, the garden and the beach. Several rooms have a balcony or terrace, and air conditioning is fitted in the Pool Villa, the Sea View Villa and the Deluxe Triple. Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms.

The Standard Room sleeps two guests, and the Deluxe Triple sleeps three with a double bed and a semi double bed. Seating areas are part of the Standard Room, the Sea View Villa and the Deluxe Triple, and the Deluxe Triple also has a refrigerator and a TV. The House also sleeps up to three guests.

The resort has an outdoor swimming pool and a beachfront setting, and snorkelling is offered too. Lunch and dinner are served in the restaurant, with salads and soup on the menu, and a coffee shop is on site. Breakfast is served à la carte, and alcohol and bottled water are available.

Free parking is available nearby, and free Wi-Fi covers all rooms, with Wi-Fi also available in public areas. English and Thai are spoken, and a kids meal is offered for younger guests.

Between the pool, the beach close by, the restaurant and the coffee shop, the grounds offer several ways to spend a day without leaving the resort at all.

Coral Cove Resort is in Chaweng Noi, a bay on Koh Samui, and Coral Cove Beach is the closest beach to the resort. The setting is a seaside one, with an outdoor pool and a restaurant on site, so guests can spend much of the day near the water and still head out to see the island.

Several sights are within a short ride of the resort. Hin Ta & Hin Yai Rocks, the rock formations known as Grandma and Grandpa Rocks, are 4.9 km away, and Na Muang Waterfall lies 8.1 km from the resort. Big Buddha, the large seated statue on the island, is a well-known sight, and Samui Airport, 6.4 km away, sits on Koh Samui itself, so arrivals by air do not need a sea crossing.

A useful day out is to visit Hin Ta and Hin Yai in the morning, then return to the beach in the afternoon. In the evening, the Lamai Night Market is a busy place to eat, and Lamai Beach is a short drive away for a walk along the sand. Chaweng Yai Beach is another stretch of sand to explore, and Coral Cove Beach itself is the nearest sand, so a swim is easy to fit in.
