Cookies Salad Hotel

The rooms at Cookies Salad Hotel are cottages and rooms of 30 to 50 m², with views over the ocean, the garden or the beach in several of them. Beds range from a double bed to a king bed, and several rooms take up to three guests. Some rooms have a bathtub, others a shower.

Air conditioning, a flat-screen TV, a coffee and tea maker and a refrigerator come in some rooms, and balconies or terraces open out from several of them. The hotel's pools, restaurant and private beach sit alongside the rooms, and buffet and continental breakfast are offered.

Haad Salad is a stretch of Ko Pha-ngan's coast where a small beach, a few dive schools and a handful of resorts line the shore. Ko Pha-ngan is an island in the Gulf of Thailand, reached by boat from the mainland and from Ko Samui, and that keeps the pace slower than on the busier parts of the island. Diving and snorkelling are a big part of life here, with dive schools along the shore.

Salad Beach is right beside the hotel, 50 m away, and the bay of Ao Chaloklum lies 3.5 km along the coast. Haad Yao (West), 1.1 km away, is another beach nearby, and the Wang Sai waterfall is a short trip into the island's green interior. The nearest airport, Samui Airport, is on the neighbouring island of Ko Samui, 28.1 km away, so the last stretch of any trip here is by boat.

For a day out, combine the Wang Sai waterfall with a swim at Thong Nai Pan Yai Beach, one of the island's best-known beaches, and leave the afternoon for a dive or snorkel trip from the hotel's own private beach. Thong Nai Pan Yai Beach is 9.5 km away, so it works best as a separate outing.
