Coffee Island

Coffee Island is set in the town rather than on a resort beach, so local shops, cafés and street-food stalls are close at hand.

The ferry piers are 300 m from the property, which is useful for travellers arriving by boat from the mainland. Within a short walk is the Nathon night food market, while the Coconut Museum is 1.7 km away and the Na Muang Waterfall lies 9.4 km off in the island's interior. The Big Buddha, a large seated Buddha statue near Bophut, is 14.2 km away.

For a day out, combine the Na Muang Waterfall with a visit to the Big Buddha, then return to Nathon for food at the night market. Samui Airport, the nearest airport, is on the island itself, so the last part of the journey from there is by road. The Samui Monkey Center, a zoo-style centre known for its monkeys, is a good stop for an afternoon out, and Lamai Beach is the best-known sandy beach on the list, reached by a longer drive from Nathon.
