A good day could start on Patong's sand, continue to Karon Beach, 3.5 km away, for a longer and quieter stretch of sand, and end with dinner on Bangla Road, which is lively until late. Kata Beach and Nai Harn Beach are further along the coast for those who want a quieter day out from the centre of Patong, and the Phuket FantaSea show offers an evening away from the beach.
