Coco Palm Hotel Koh tao

Several viewpoints and beaches are close by. Coconut Viewpoint is 1.2 km away, and the King Chulalongkorn (Rama V) monument stands 1.3 km from the hotel. Ao Hin Wong is a small beach on the coast, and Ao Tanote Beach and Mango Bay are also within a short distance. The ferry pier, where boats from the mainland arrive, is 2 km away, and Nang Yuan island, with its well-known viewpoint, lies offshore and is reached by a boat trip.

A good day out combines a swim at Sairee with a walk up to Coconut Viewpoint, followed by a boat trip to Nang Yuan for snorkelling. In the evening the beach road fills with street-food stalls and bars, and the island keeps a lively feel after dark. Other beaches on the island, including Ao Tanote Beach and Mango Bay, are worth a day trip from Sairee, and the walk to the viewpoints gives a good view of the bays below.
