Coco Beach Resort

Accommodation at Coco Beach Resort takes several forms: suites, bungalows, houses and villas, plus twin or double rooms. Every room sleeps up to three guests, and rooms can have air conditioning, a desk, an in-room safe box, a hair dryer and free bottled water.

Some rooms have a sea view, and two of them, the Deluxe Bungalow and the Sea View Suite with two beds, measure 45 m². The Deluxe Bungalow has a whirlpool bathtub, and the Sea View Suite with two beds also has a separate shower/bathtub. The house with a private pool and the villa with a swimming pool give a small group a pool to share.

Coco Beach Resort has an outdoor swimming pool, a spa with sauna and a private beach. Restaurants, a coffee shop, a poolside bar and room service are on site, and there is a 24-hour front desk, a concierge, luggage storage and safety deposit boxes.

Laundry service and business facilities are available, and family rooms are offered. Parking on site is available, Wi-Fi is free in all rooms and available in public areas, and on-demand movies are also offered.

Tours can be arranged through the resort, and the concierge desk can help with bookings. The resort also has a spa with sauna, so guests can combine a treatment with time on the private beach.

Had Yao Beach, also called Long Beach, is a stretch of sand on the Krabi mainland, with Coco Beach Resort set close to it at 150 m. The surroundings are mostly local villages and the coastline of Nuangklong, where the sea, the sand and the resort's private beach form the main attraction.

The surroundings include Laem Hin Pier, 1.1 km away, which is the ferry terminal for boats to the islands offshore, and Krabi International Airport, 17.3 km from the resort. Railay Beach, at 16.3 km, is known for its limestone cliffs and is reached by boat, while Tiger Cave Temple (Wat Tham Suea), at 20.7 km, is a hilltop temple reached by a long flight of stairs. Emerald Pool (Sa Morakot) lies further out, in the forest.

A full day could combine the sand at Had Yao with a boat trip to Railay and a visit to the temple in the afternoon. Boat trips can be stopped when the sea is rough, so keep a flexible plan and check the conditions on the day. For a slower afternoon, the sand at Had Yao is enough, while the boat trip to Railay suits a fuller day. Both options start from the same stretch of coast, and the choice can be made the same morning.
