Railay Beach, 3.5 km away, is reached by boat, and its limestone cliffs are popular with climbers. Ton Sai Beach, close to the Railay pier, is also known for climbing, and Ao Nang Beach lies further along the coast with its long sand and streets of restaurants. The Tiger Cave Temple, known as Wat Tham Suea, sits 12.3 km away, with a long flight of steps up to a shrine on the hill, and the Mountain Buddha Temple is closer, in the hills above the area.

Krabi International Airport is 15 km away, and the hotel offers an airport transfer. A day trip could start with a boat from the Ao Nam Mao pier to Railay, followed by a walk to Phra Nang Cave, and end back on the sand at Ao Nam Mao beach. Boat trips to Poda and Tup islands can fill a full day on the water.
