Cicada Lanta Resort has garden-view rooms, including a 35 m² room with a living room and a king bed, and a bungalow that accommodates up to four guests. Rooms can have air conditioning, a flat-screen TV, a mini bar, a refrigerator, a coffee and tea maker and toiletries.

The resort stands in a local community area, so some neighbourhood noise can be heard at times. The garden is green and peaceful, and the beach is about 340 m away, a short walk from the resort.

Kantiang Bay is 750 m away, one of the island's best-known bays. Long Beach, Koh Lanta, is 1.9 km away and offers a long stretch of sand, and the Sala Dan ferry pier is also close by. Krabi International Airport is 51.4 km away on the mainland, so the last stage of the journey to Koh Lanta is by ferry. Kaw Kwang Beach is also close by, and the Siri Lanta Bridge has a viewpoint nearby, so the coast around the resort offers more than one stop in an afternoon.

Mu Ko Lanta National Park, 20.1 km away, is a good day out, with forest and coastline to explore, and it is a natural choice for travellers who want to see more of the island than the beach. Back at the resort, the garden and a game of table tennis or badminton make a relaxed end to the day.
