Chor Chang Villa Resort

Chor Chang Villa Resort offers villas with one, two and three bedrooms, along with a duplex room and a double room. Several of the accommodations have a garden view, and the three-bedroom villa has its own private pool. One of the two-bedroom villas sleeps up to nine guests, so a larger group can stay together in a single villa.

Choeng Mon Beach is a quiet stretch of sand in the Bophut area of Koh Samui, and the resort's villas and rooms sit among gardens, with the beach 500 m away. The surroundings are village-like, with houses, temples and small shops along the roads, and the island's main sights are reached by road. Bophut began as a fishing town and is now one of the island's main areas for visitors.

Wat Plai Laem, 1.3 km away, is known for its large Guanyin statue, and the Big Buddha is 2 km from the resort. Samui Airport is 3.3 km away, and Chaweng Noi Beach, a quieter stretch of sand, is 7.4 km away. Fisherman's Village in Bophut, with its shops and restaurants, is a drive away, and getting around the island usually means a taxi, songthaew or scooter.

A day out could take in the Big Buddha and Wat Plai Laem, then a swim at Choeng Mon Beach, and an evening at Fisherman's Village. For a change of scene, Chaweng Noi Beach is a quieter day trip with its own stretch of sand. The island's roads link its beaches, temples and waterfalls, so a scooter or car opens up much of the island.
