Chonnapha Homestay

Rooms at Chonnapha Homestay include a 24 m² room for two guests, a 27 m² room with a single bed and a Queen bed, and a 56 m² family room sleeping up to seven. Some rooms look out over the mountains, others have a garden view, and the apartment-style room, which measures 56 m², sleeps up to six guests.

Several rooms come with air conditioning, a flat-screen TV, a private bathroom with a shower and a private entrance. A few rooms also have a mini bar, a microwave and free instant coffee, and some have a Queen bed or a King bed.

Guests have access to a garden and a terrace at Chonnapha Homestay, along with a shared kitchen, a kitchenette and private BBQ facilities. Room service is available, and the restaurant serves lunch and dinner as well as breakfast.

Chonnapha Homestay is in the Mueang district of Phang Nga province, on the Andaman coast of southern Thailand. The surroundings are green and hilly, with waterfalls, forest parks and a wildlife conservation area nearby, so the setting is well suited to those who want countryside and nature rather than a beach scene.

Within a few kilometres are Phang Nga Elephant Park, 4.6 km away, and the Sanang Manora Waterfall, 5.3 km away. Ban Bang Kan village, 750 m from the property, is the closest settlement, and the Phra Yai Khrata Thong pagoda, 2.5 km away, is a Buddhist pagoda worth a stop on a day of sightseeing.

A day out can start at the Sanang Manora Waterfall and continue to Phang Nga Elephant Park, with the pagoda and the village close by for the rest of the day. Car hire and a taxi service are offered, so getting around by road is straightforward. Because the sights lie across the countryside rather than in one town, a car or taxi makes most outings simpler. The waterfall, the elephant park and the pagoda can each be visited as a separate outing. For a full day, Tham San Rock Art and the protected wildlife area are further afield and make a longer outing.
