Chino Town Gallery Alley

The guesthouse offers standard rooms in twin, double, triple and family layouts for between two and five guests. The standard family room measures 36 m² and has a balcony or terrace, while several rooms measure 15 m², including the twin and double rooms.

Air conditioning is fitted in most of the rooms. Beds range from single beds to a king bed, and some rooms have a queen bed or a sofa bed. Some rooms have a city view, one has a street view, and several have a private bathroom with a shower.

Free parking is available on site, and free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms. The guesthouse also has a shuttle service and an airport transfer, daily housekeeping, laundry service and luggage storage.

Guests have a garden, a games room, a library and a salon, and the gift shop sells handicrafts and souvenirs. Restaurants and a coffee shop are on the property, and concierge help, bicycle rental for getting around, taxi service and car hire are offered. Tours can be arranged, and there is air conditioning in public areas. The gift shop and the salon are both on the property, so guests can shop and book a treatment without leaving the guesthouse.

Chino Town Gallery Alley is on Soi Soon U-Thit, a side street off Yaowarat Road in Phuket Town, the island's provincial capital. The streets around it mix Sino-Portuguese shophouses, colourful old houses and small galleries, so the area is best explored on foot rather than from a beach chair.

Phuket Old Town begins about 300 m away, and the Lard Yai Sunday Night Market, 350 m away, is a short walk with street food and local goods. Wat Mongkol Nimit, a temple in the old town, is also close by. Phuket International Airport is 26.5 km away, and there is an airport transfer.

A day could start with the old town's temples and shophouses, then continue to Wat Chalong, one of the island's best-known temples, and to the Big Buddha on its hilltop, which has views across the island. Patong Beach, about 10.1 km away, is the place for a busy beach and an evening out, so a day in town suits a slower pace. Within a few hundred metres of the guesthouse there are a museum, a temple, the old town and a night market, so the first stops of the day, including the old town's streets, can be reached on foot.
