Chillax @Khaosk Hostel

Chillax @Khaosk Hostel offers rooms from dormitory beds to twin, double and quadruple rooms. Several look out over the mountains or the countryside, and the quadruple room also has a balcony. Rooms with a private bathroom have a shower, toiletries and a hair dryer, while other rooms use a shared bathroom. Each type has its own size and bed set-up, so guests can choose the layout that suits their group.

Wing Hin waterfall lies 1.9 km away, and the Elephant Sanctuary is 2.3 km away, with Mae Yai waterfall a little further at 4.3 km. The monkey pond and the Wat Tham Panthurat temple are also in the area, and Surat Thani Airport is 72.3 km away, with the journey into the valley made by road.

A good day starts with a walk on the park's trails, followed by a visit to one of the waterfalls nearby and an afternoon at the elephant sanctuary. Back at the hostel, the bar and the shared lounge are a relaxed place to finish the day, and tours can be arranged for guests who prefer a guided trip. Khao Sok also lies on the route between Surat Thani and Phuket, so many travellers pass through on the way to the coast.
