Bingo Hostel Khao Sok

The accommodation at Bingo Hostel Khao Sok is a bed in an 8-bed mixed dormitory of 20 m², with a bunk bed for one guest, air conditioning and a mountain view. The room has a private entrance.

Khao Sok (Suratthani) is a quiet, nature-led area in the hills of Surat Thani province, in southern Thailand, where limestone peaks rise above the rainforest of Khao Sok National Park. The main reasons to come are the forest, the valley views and the waterfalls, and the pace of the area is slow. Life here revolves around the outdoors rather than around town, and most of the landscape is covered by forest and karst ridges.

The national park is 250 m from the hostel, and its jungle trails reach waterfalls and viewpoints. The Khao Sok Valley Viewpoint is 2.1 km away and gives a wide look over the valley, while Wing Hin waterfall is also nearby. Mae Yai waterfall lies further out, at 4.6 km.

For a full day, go into the park in the morning, then visit Wat Tham Panthurat, a temple 1.5 km from the hostel. Surat Thani Airport is the nearest airport, and Phuket International Airport is further away, so the journey to the valley is by road, and the village is far from the coast, so it is a place to come for the forest. After a day on the trails, the hostel's garden and terrace are there for guests to sit in.
