Chill Inn Lipa Noi Hostel and Beach Cafe

Most of the rooms at Chill Inn Lipa Noi Hostel and Beach Cafe are dormitory rooms with bunk beds, and some of them are mixed-gender. Several of the dormitory rooms have air conditioning and soundproofing, and some look onto the garden. Several of them also have blackout curtains, reading lights and an in-room safe box.

Some of the dormitory rooms have a shared bathroom with a shower, toiletries and towels. The hostel also has a private house with a garden view that sleeps up to three guests, and several rooms are non-smoking. The private house sleeps up to three guests, and the dormitory rooms sleep one or two guests each.

The hostel has a bar, a coffee shop and restaurants on site, and alternative meal arrangements are offered. Lockers, dry cleaning and daily housekeeping are offered too, and a shuttle service and ticket services are available. There is also an airport transfer, and air conditioning is provided in the public areas as well as in some of the rooms.

The private beach is used for non-motorised water sports, including canoeing, and the garden has seating among the greenery. Free parking is available, and free WiFi is available in all rooms.

Lipa Noi is a village area on Koh Samui, close to Nathon, the island's main town, with its ferry pier, fish market and bus terminal. The hostel sits in this village setting, and Tong Yang, a village 350 m away, is the closest landmark. Larger beaches on the island are reached by road.

Several sights are close by: Wat Samuthra Ram, a Buddhist pagoda 1.5 km away, and Pang Ka Beach, 2.3 km away on the coast. Nathon Pier, the ferry terminal 4.4 km away, handles boats to the mainland, and the Coconut Museum is also nearby. Each of these makes a good first stop for a day out, and the pagoda and the museum are the sights most worth a visit.

The hostel's bar, garden and private beach are the main focus on site, and the water sports on the beach are non-motorised, with canoeing among them. For arrivals, Samui Airport is 15.4 km away on the island, so the last part of the journey is by road, and an airport transfer is offered. A day out can take in the pagoda, the beach and the Coconut Museum, all within a few kilometres of the hostel, and the trip back to the hostel is by road.
