Chateau de Lamai

The rooms at Chateau de Lamai include doubles with a king bed, family rooms and a two-bedroom suite, and they measure from 30 to 75 m². Most have air conditioning and a private bathroom with a walk-in shower, and several have a balcony or a pool view.

Rooms have a flat-screen TV with satellite or cable channels, an electric kettle and toiletries, and some have a kitchenette or direct pool access. Family rooms sleep up to three guests, and the two-bedroom rooms up to four or five.

Chateau de Lamai has an outdoor swimming pool and a terrace, and air conditioning in its public areas. Free WiFi is available in all rooms and in the public areas, and satellite or cable channels are offered in the rooms.

Lamai is a beach village on Koh Samui, with a long bay of sand, a road lined with small hotels, shops and food stalls, and a relaxed pace. Chateau de Lamai is in the village itself, where the beach, the shops and the temples are close by.

Lamai Beach is 1.2 km away, and Wat Lamai, the village temple, is about 350 m from the resort. Hin Ta and Hin Yai, the Grandma and Grandpa Rocks, are 2.4 km away, and Fisherman's Village in Bophut is 9.5 km away. Na Muang Waterfall lies inland, and the large Buddha statue near Bophut is further out. Samui Airport is the nearest airport, and the rest of the island is reached by road from there.

A good day could start with a swim at Lamai Beach, continue with a visit to the Grandma and Grandpa Rocks on the coast, and end with an evening at the Lamai night market. Lamai Beach is the nearest stretch of sand to the resort, so it is the easiest beach to reach on foot or by a short ride. The Coco Splash Adventure waterpark is also close, and the Jun Muay Thai Camp Lamai is there for anyone who wants a training session.
