The rooms at Chareena Hill Beach Resort measure from 16 to 40 m² and sleep between two and five guests. Most rooms have a sea view, and one has a partial sea view, so the view depends on the room you choose.

The island is small enough that the beaches, the pier and the village are all within a short distance of each other. Sea, sand and boat trips make up most of a stay here, far from the pace of a city.

Pattaya Beach is 50 m from the resort, and the Koh Lipe Ferry Terminal, where boats from the mainland arrive, is 550 m away. Walking Street, the main lane through the village, is 650 m from the resort. Sunset Beach and Karma Beach are other sandy stretches of the island's coast, and Sunrise Beach is 1.3 km away.

Boat trips are the main way to explore beyond the village. Koh Adang, a neighbouring island 6.2 km away, can be reached by boat for a day trip. The resort offers diving, snorkelling and canoeing, so the sea around Ko Lipe is the main draw close to the hotel. A good day here could begin with a swim at Pattaya Beach, a walk along Walking Street and an afternoon boat trip to Koh Adang.
