Chaphone Guest House

Chaphone Guest House offers Standard, Deluxe and Superior rooms, along with Double and Triple rooms. Rooms can have air conditioning, a flat-screen TV, a refrigerator and a coffee and tea maker, and the private bathrooms come with a shower and toiletries.

The Superior Room has a city view, and the Deluxe Room has a king bed. Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms, and the rooms sleep from two to four guests.

Thalang Road, one of the old town's main streets, runs past old shophouses, and the Thavorn Phuket Museum is also nearby, so the streets around the guesthouse are easy to explore in a morning.

The Phuket Town Local Bus Station is 100 m away, and Phuket International Airport lies 27.2 km away. Chaithararam Temple (Wat Chalong), the most revered Buddhist temple on the island, is 7.8 km away, and the Big Buddha stands on a hill 11.1 km away. Patong Beach, the island's busiest beach with its nightlife along Bangla Road, is 11.2 km away.

A good day could start at Wat Chalong, continue to the Big Buddha and end on Patong Beach, with a taxi or car hire covering the longer drives, and the day can end back in the old town for dinner at one of the local restaurants. Closer to the guesthouse, the Trickeye Museum with its three-dimensional painted rooms and the Peranakan Museum make a short morning in the old town.
